Maintenance Manager

About the role

Fromosa Co., Ltd., a joint venture of Veolia Group, Mercuries & Associates Holding and SciPharmtech Inc., is looking for a Maintenance Manager for its Taoyuan plant. The role oversees all maintenance operations, asset reliability and safety compliance, leading a team of 9 to 12 technical staff. It ensures maximum equipment availability and operational efficiency through CMMS-based preventive maintenance, cost control and strict HSE adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and run annual, monthly, weekly and daily preventive and predictive maintenance programmes via the CMMS, and handle corrective maintenance for ad-hoc issues.
• Monitor asset performance and report on key operational metrics, and develop departmental processes and interfaces with the asset management system.
• Improve plant safety, equipment availability, efficiency and profitability, and act as the main contact for out-of-hours support during breakdowns or emergencies.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Help design safe systems of work and ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and corporate safety procedures.
• Manage maintenance budgets and costs (contract services, labour, overtime, spare parts) and evaluate contractor proposals for cost, quality and technical feasibility.

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing plants.
• Hands-on knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to analyse data and report on financial and technical KPIs.
• Fluent spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Proven experience managing a team of 9 to 12 engineers or technicians.
