IT Operations, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Lead

About the role

Veolia Taiwan is looking for an IT Operations, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Lead, a senior operational role responsible for the reliability, availability, security and performance of the company's technology environment. The person is the main owner of Delivery and Reliability and Cybersecurity and IT/OT compliance, providing the infrastructure and hosting foundations for core enterprise systems and local Data and AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud environments (AWS and GCP), server instances, database hosting and storage for core applications, the Central Data Platform and AI processing
• Oversee hardware and network connectivity, including plant network switches and data connectors, and keep 99.9% network availability across offices and plants via routers, firewalls, VPNs and SD-WAN
• Act as the local point of contact for Group and Asia Cybersecurity, enforcing global security frameworks, access policies and encryption standards across IT and OT networks
• Monitor vulnerability dashboards, coordinate patch management and ensure issues are fixed within agreed SLAs
• Promote cybersecurity awareness, maintain audit readiness and define, document and regularly test Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans with plant management
• Oversee procurement, configuration, deployment and decommissioning of endpoint hardware, and maintain MDM solutions with encryption, security policies and MFA
• Manage external IT support suppliers, track ticket queues and enforce SLAs, and act as Tier 2/Tier 3 escalation contact for major outages

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, network engineering, IT operations and cybersecurity
• Proven ability to manage third-party service providers and ITIL-aligned service metrics
• Professional Mandarin Chinese and intermediate-to-advanced technical English
• Methodical, process-oriented approach focused on uptime, documented runbooks and vendor supervision
