IT Helpdesk Engineer

About the role

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking an IT Helpdesk Engineer to provide first‑line technical support to internal users across Taiwan, Japan, Korea and other overseas locations. The role involves troubleshooting Windows environments, hardware, network connectivity and workplace technologies both onsite and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 computers, business applications, network connections and peripheral devices.
• Prepare and provision computers for new hires, manage device upgrades, data migration, equipment returns and recoveries.
• Deploy software and updates using Microsoft SCCM/Configuration Manager and resolve deployment failures.
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, video‑conferencing equipment, printers and shared workplace technology.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and create Knowledge Base articles, FAQs and SOPs.

Required profile

• College diploma or higher in IT, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Strong customer service, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic English reading and communication ability for cross‑regional support.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Windows 10/11 installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM/Configuration Manager, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting, ticketing systems and IT asset management.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, printers and meeting‑room technologies.
• Exposure to AI‑enabled IT support tools such as LLMs or RAG is a plus.
