Inventory Control Lead – Taiwan

About the role

ALSO is looking for a detail‑oriented Inventory Control Lead to manage inventory accuracy at its outsourced contract manufacturers in Taiwan. Based in Taipei, the role will work on‑site with the CM’s warehouse and production teams to ensure all inventory movements are recorded, reconciled and reported accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory transactions at the CMs, including goods receipt, production consumption, scrap and rework reporting.
• Record all inventory movements promptly in NetSuite ERP and the CM’s WMS.
• Track component receipt‑to‑consumption flow, identify variances and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform periodic reconciliations between NetSuite balances and on‑hand quantities at the CMs.
• Audit CM compliance with FIFO methodology and support cycle‑count and physical inventory activities.
• Collaborate with OSM, purchasing, planning and finance to analyse root causes of discrepancies and drive process improvements.
• Generate regular reports on inventory accuracy, aging and obsolescence.
• Assist the Inventory Accounting team with ad‑hoc requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory accounting, materials management or supply‑chain coordination, preferably with outsourced manufacturing.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Solid understanding of inventory control principles such as FIFO, cycle counting and physical inventory.
