Internal Auditor

About the role

Gogoro is seeking an Internal Auditor to protect its assets, ensure compliance with internal procedures, and support sustainable business practices. The role involves conducting audits across IT and operational areas while aligning with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements, including IT and operational reviews, in line with the approved audit plan.
• Lead audit projects from planning through reporting, maintaining professional standards and independence.
• Collect and test evidence by reviewing documentation, financial records, and system logs, and prepare detailed working papers.
• Assess IT General Controls (ITGCs) and application controls to ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance.
• Engage with stakeholders through interviews and meetings to understand processes and communicate audit scope and findings.
• Prepare concise audit reports and present key issues, trends, and recommendations to management.
• Follow up on corrective actions and conduct special investigations such as whistleblowing or misconduct inquiries.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a CPA firm, corporate internal audit, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, or CPA.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, financial systems, and legal compliance.
