HR Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager supports the Director of Human Resources in overseeing daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, and driving initiatives that attract, retain, and develop top talent for a luxury hotel or resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Human Resources in managing day‑to‑day HR activities and ensuring legal compliance.
• Develop and maintain recruitment, hiring, and salary structures to attract premier talent.
• Create a talent development framework aligned with corporate culture for systematic employee training.
• Design and manage performance management, compensation, incentive programs, and pension schemes.
• Mediate labour‑management disputes and handle complex employee‑relations issues.
• Implement and maintain a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to support workforce analytics and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial HR role, preferably within luxury hotels or resorts.
• Experience in adult education or similar training environments.
• Proven ability to work across diverse cultures.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
