Group General Counsel / Legal Director

About the role

Moxa is seeking an accomplished legal leader to steer its global legal strategy. The Group General Counsel/Legal Director will protect the company’s brand, technology, and supply‑chain interests while supporting continuous growth and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an international legal roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor evolving regulations in manufacturing, technology, supply‑chain operations, and brand protection, providing proactive risk assessments.
• Establish and oversee a comprehensive compliance framework covering international trade, IP, data privacy, antitrust, and product liability.
• Lead major litigation and dispute resolution, coordinating with external counsel and regulators.
• Partner with the Board, executive team, and business units to deliver timely legal guidance on supply‑chain partnerships and global brand initiatives.
• Standardize legal practices across regions to ensure consistent risk management.
• Negotiate complex contractual terms with top‑tier industry clients, achieving balanced outcomes.
• Manage coordination challenges among diverse suppliers, employing mediation and negotiation strategies.
• Build and lead a high‑performing, diverse legal team proficient in multinational matters.
• Foster a department culture of transparency, integrity, collaboration, and innovation.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree with an active license to practice law (or internationally recognized qualification).
• Minimum 15 years of corporate or law‑firm experience, preferably in multinational environments.
• Deep expertise in legal risk management, compliance, and dispute resolution within manufacturing or technology sectors.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage supplier relationships.
• Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities.
