Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead all financial activities in Taiwan, aligning finance with corporate strategy and supporting sustainable growth. The role partners closely with business leaders to drive performance, optimise outcomes and provide decision‑making support.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with local statutory and IFRS requirements.
• Manage core finance functions including credit, treasury, tax, company secretarial, capital structure and internal controls.
• Coordinate with shared service teams to manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and collection activities.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning, delivering variance analysis and scenario planning.
• Partner with Business Controller and commercial teams to improve revenue, margin and working capital through financial insights.
• Provide financial evaluation and decision support for key business initiatives.
• Lead projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance processes, controls and team effectiveness.
• Build and develop a high‑performing finance team, focusing on engagement, talent development and succession planning.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally and with Shared Services to ensure strong financial control and alignment with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory accounting standards.
• Ability to partner with business leaders and drive performance improvements.
• Experience managing credit, treasury, tax and internal control processes.
