Facility Site Service Engineer

About the role

The Facility Site Service Engineer supports Micron's plant and office environments by planning and executing facility changes, ensuring efficient use of space, equipment, and compliance with regulations. This role works closely with architecture and engineering partners to deliver safe, cost‑effective solutions that meet operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan facility modifications for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, focusing on operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria, layout drawings, and detailed construction documents.
• Prepare bid packages, evaluate contractors, and manage contracts for construction and facility acquisitions.
• Review and estimate design costs, including equipment, installation, labor, materials, and related expenses.
• Inspect construction and installation progress to ensure conformance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Develop performance specifications and criteria to meet operating requirements, building codes, and safety standards.

Required profile

• Experience in facility planning, layout design, and construction oversight.
• Proven ability to work with external architecture/engineering firms and manage bid processes.
• Strong understanding of cost estimation for equipment, labor, and materials.
• Knowledge of building, safety, and regulatory codes relevant to industrial environments.
