About the role
Micron Technology is seeking a Facility Site Service Engineer to plan and manage changes to plant, office and production equipment layouts, ensuring efficient operation, optimal use of assets and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan facility modifications for plant, office and production equipment to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria and produce detailed layout drawings.
- Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction projects and facility acquisitions.
- Review and estimate design costs, including equipment, installation, labor, materials and related expenses.
- Inspect construction and installation progress to verify conformance with drawings, specifications and schedules.
- Develop performance specifications and criteria to meet operating requirements and building safety codes.
