About the role
Micron Technology is seeking a Facility Tool Installation Engineer to lead equipment hookup and system integration within its manufacturing sites. The role works closely with HVM, IE, PUR and Construction teams to ensure successful tool installations that support high‑volume production.
Key responsibilities
- Perform facility hookup, system integration and tool installation activities according to layout plans, blueprints and engineering manuals.
- Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment, using test and diagnostic tools to verify proper operation.
- Utilize BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks for space modeling, 3D drawing and integration of facility and MEP systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain model accuracy, support design changes, conduct clash detection and update data as needed.
Required skills
- Proficiency with BIM tools – Revit and Navisworks.
- Experience in 3D modeling and MEP system integration.
- Ability to operate diagnostic and test equipment for equipment checkout.
