Equipment Technician – Chemical Lab (OMT MQC)

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking an Equipment Technician to monitor, sustain, and improve equipment in a chemical laboratory environment. The role works closely with shift operations, equipment engineers, and tool vendors, performing preventive maintenance and repairs using mechanical, electronic, and software skills.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Operate, maintain, and collect data from analytical instruments such as IC, GC, and ICP‑MS.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned tool sets and troubleshoot mechanical or electronic issues.
• Conduct abnormal analysis and reaction tracing to support process stability.

Required profile

• Background in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field (higher vocational education or bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear full PPE suits.
• Willingness to support rotating day/night shifts and maintain regular attendance.
• Proficiency with PC applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
