Engineer II – Design & Analysis

About the role

Greene, Tweed is seeking an Engineer II to interpret customer technical requirements and drive the selection, design and delivery of polymer‑based products. The role works closely with customers, the commercial team and operations to provide technical support throughout product development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to external customers, sales, manufacturing and quality teams, including site visits when required.
• Recommend materials based on application criteria and review specifications to ensure alignment with Greene, Tweed capabilities.
• Generate and approve design proposals through the Global Incremental Process, communicating any alignment or misalignment with customer requirements.
• Ensure model accuracy, design documentation, drafting standards, and testing requirements are met for production drawings.
• Conduct moderately complex design analysis on components or assemblies that extend current product, material or manufacturing capabilities.
• Define testing, qualification and validation methods aligned with application needs and produce external‑facing technical reports.
• Maintain awareness of customer and industry technical requirements and understand the business impact of technical decisions.
• Support cross‑functional execution of corporate and functional objectives, coordinating with other engineering and business functions.

Required profile

• Fundamental awareness of industry standards and customer technical requirements.
• Effective communication skills for interfacing with customers and internal stakeholders.
