Distribution Account Manager, Hong Kong & Taiwan

About the role

As Distribution Account Manager, you will oversee distributors and drive the success of the Channel Partner Program in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Your main goal is to grow the market by building a strong channel infrastructure of distributors and channel partners, through relationship management, training and support, and performance tracking. You will also help grow revenue by optimizing sales processes, tools and guidelines across the region. The role reports to the Sales Director, Hong Kong & Taiwan, is based in Hong Kong or Taipei, Taiwan, and involves occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for distributors in the assigned markets
• Recruit new partners into the Channel Partner Program
• Train, advise and educate partners on Axis products, services and value propositions
• Manage stock levels, rotation and product mix to optimise availability
• Plan, run and follow up distributor marketing activities with local Marketing Managers
• Set performance targets, evaluate distributor performance regularly and ensure quarterly and annual revenue and growth targets are met
• Deliver onboarding and training on Axis solutions and operational processes
• Negotiate distributor marketing plans with clear ROI metrics and performance tracking
• Analyse the competitive landscape and share insights with sales and management
• Oversee distribution programs and sales enablement for designated distributor accounts

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
• At least 7 years' experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Proactive, results-driven and highly self-motivated team player
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Fluent Cantonese and English, spoken and written
