Compensation Consultant – Taiwan Career Team

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Compensation Consultant to join its Taiwan Career team at Mercer Career Business, based in Taipei. This is a hybrid role with at least three days a week in the office. The consultant drives the growth of the Taiwan Career business, acts as the main point of contact for clients, delivers rewards consulting projects on time and to a high standard, and supports the project director.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day client contact, anticipate needs and give tailored recommendations on HR and risk management challenges
• Research client organisations, including business performance and acquisition history
• Manage end-to-end project workflows and coordinate internal project teams, meetings and deliverables
• Analyse client data and present findings in client-ready reports and presentations
• Supervise and review the work of junior consultants, including data validation and quality checks
• Be accountable for product revenue and project delivery targets

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Management or a related field; Master's degree preferred but not required
• At least 3 years of experience in HR consulting, internal HR/rewards or a client-facing professional services role
• Proven experience with rewards projects such as compensation benchmarking, job evaluation, incentive design and salary structure development
• Strong knowledge of total rewards concepts, including compensation strategy, benchmarking, job architecture and pay-for-performance design
• Professional fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
• Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or project delivery

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, able to handle large datasets
• Project management tools and methods, including timeline tracking and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication and analytical skills
