About the role
IBM Consulting is seeking a Business Transformation Consultant to help manufacturing clients adopt Industry 4.0 technologies. The consultant will work with cross‑functional teams to design, implement and optimise AI‑driven and IoT‑enabled solutions that improve productivity and accelerate digital transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse client data, formulate hypotheses and test conclusions to identify optimal manufacturing solutions.
- Guide clients through the implementation of Industry 4.0 strategies, leveraging AI, IoT and cloud technologies.
- Stay current on emerging AI, IoT and IBM Watson assets to ensure successful integration.
- Deliver cloud‑based digital floor solutions, machine‑learning models and data‑driven insights that boost throughput, yield and process optimisation.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with core consulting methodologies and data‑analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations and digital transformation initiatives.
