Business Development Representative – Outbound Sales

About the role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) you will own the outbound prospecting process, qualifying leads and moving opportunities to a sales‑ready stage. You will work closely with sales teams and partners to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified prospects for Siemens Digital Industries Software’s PLM solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute outbound prospecting and qualification activities across assigned market segments.
• Identify, engage, and navigate customer organisations to reach key decision makers and influencers.
• Plan and adapt multi‑channel outreach strategies (phone, email, social, digital) aligned with campaigns.
• Conduct structured discovery calls to assess needs and qualify opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM data, ensure pipeline visibility and follow‑up discipline.
• Collaborate with sales teams and partners on pursuit strategy and hand‑over.
• Escalate complex situations or when additional support is required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales development, prospecting, or lead qualification.
• Strong communication skills across all organisational levels.
• Self‑driven, performance‑oriented with solid organisational abilities.
• Ability to adapt messaging based on customer context.
