Associate or Senior Associate – Legal Counsel (Cross‑border Transactions)

About the role

PwC Legal Taiwan is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its cross‑border transaction team. You will work alongside a diverse group of attorneys qualified in multiple jurisdictions, providing legal support for international M&A and related deals.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in cross‑border mergers and acquisitions and other international transactions.
• Draft, review, and translate legal documents such as share purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, shareholders agreements, and distribution agreements.
• Coordinate with local counsel in various countries and maintain clear communication with external legal teams.
• Conduct legal research and produce written analyses on both foreign and domestic legal issues.

Required profile

• Law degree (LLB, LLM, JD, or JSD) required.
• Native or professional proficiency in English.
• Native or near‑native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
• Graduates from law schools are welcome.
• Admission or candidacy to a bar association in Taiwan or a foreign jurisdiction, or successful completion of a bar exam.
