Assistant Retail Development Manager & Trainer – Fragrance & Beauty

About the role

The Assistant Retail Development Manager & Trainer will support the Fragrance & Beauty Products division by designing, delivering and evaluating sales and soft‑skills training programs. Working closely with the Learning & Development (L&D) team and retail leaders, the role ensures that training aligns with brand standards and drives performance at points of sale.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with L&D and other departments to identify sales training needs.
• Plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate high‑quality training sessions that reflect Chanel image standards and regional guidelines.
• Provide feedback, reporting and follow‑up action plans to regional and local teams.
• Coach retail staff, including counter managers, to improve salesforce productivity and service quality at POS/BTQ.
• Assist the L&D manager on projects, up‑skill team members and build new capabilities within the L&D organization.
• Translate, localise and maintain training materials to suit local market requirements.
• Integrate insights from customer satisfaction surveys and mystery‑shopper programmes into training and coaching solutions.
