Analytics Customer Support Specialist (Japanese)

About the role

LSEG is looking for a motivated, client-focused Associate Specialist to join its Analytics Client Services (ACS) team in Taipei. You will support institutional clients using LSEG Analytics solutions, with a focus on Yield Book, a fixed income analytics platform used by financial institutions for data and cash flow modelling of bonds, mortgage products and derivatives. The role develops expertise in fixed income analytics while working directly with clients and collaborating with colleagues across LSEG.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients, owning analytics-related inquiries from inquiry to resolution.
• Provide high-quality, timely support while building a strong understanding of clients' analytical needs and workflows.
• Build in-depth knowledge of fixed income instruments such as interest rate swaps (IRS), collateralized mortgage obligations (CMOs) and mortgage-backed securities (MBS).
• Develop expertise in LSEG Analytics solutions, particularly Yield Book.
• Investigate analytical and product questions using problem-solving and quantitative skills.
• Collaborate with product and development teams, including supporting testing and validation of new products, features and enhancements.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.

Required profile

• High-level Japanese is mandatory, as most clients are Japanese institutional clients; fluent business-level Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent preferred) and excellent written Japanese are required.
• Strong verbal and written English for collaboration with global teams.
• Preferred: experience in fixed income, MBS analytics, investment management or a related area.
• Preferred: strong knowledge of fixed income markets and/or mortgage-backed securities.
