AI Full Stack Senior Engineer

About the role

Micron Technology is looking for an AI Full Stack Senior Engineer in its Taoyuan facility. The engineer builds modern applications using AI as a first-class capability, both in the development workflow and in the shipped systems, going beyond simple AI coding assistants. The goal is to shorten development and feedback cycles by automating routine engineering work, augmenting human decision-making and embedding intelligence into workflows and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to platform enablement, architecture decisions, code reviews and shared engineering standards.
• Design, build, test, deploy and operate full-stack software, owning features end-to-end and collaborating with business teams.
• Build and implement custom AI agents for task automation, decision support, summarization, multi-step reasoning and guided execution.
• Integrate systems using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to share context between models, tools and agents.
• Connect applications with external and internal AI services (LLMs, embeddings, search, tools) via APIs, and harden AI components for 24/7 critical manufacturing systems with reliability, security and observability, using RAG systems.
• Use AI-assisted tools to speed development, critically evaluate AI-generated output and apply human judgment to architecture and maintainability.
• Gather requirements, write code, support testing, deployment and maintenance, and follow coding standards, code reviews, source control and build processes.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in full-stack software engineering, including object-oriented design, clean code, testing and maintainability.
• Proven experience building and operating production-grade backend or full-stack systems.
• Ability to design scalable architectures and own software end-to-end.
• Experience in cloud-native environments (CI/CD, containers).
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET, Angular, RESTful APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Experience designing custom AI agents, prompt engineering, context window management, chain-of-thought design, and integrating systems with MCP or equivalent interfaces.
• Ability to assess hallucination risk, failure modes, permissions and guardrails in AI systems.
