ADT Lab Technician – Day/Night Shift (Zhubei)

About the role

The Engineering Technician will work closely with Qualcomm engineers to optimise equipment usage and support early‑stage technical processes. The role involves maintaining safety and operational standards in a semiconductor lab environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain benches, testers and other lab equipment.
• Transport, install, upgrade and configure equipment and components under supervision.
• Perform basic measurements following standard operating procedures and record test results.
• Maintain malfunction logs and assist with basic troubleshooting, repair, rework and adjustments.
• Prepare test equipment using hand tools or automated methods for routine circuit and component testing.
• Execute manual and automated test plans, reproduce and debug routine issues.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related field, OR high school diploma with 1+ year engineering‑technician experience.
• At least 1 year of general computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications.
• 1 year of experience in the semiconductor or a related industry.
• Military or electronics training (Rank E3 or higher) is a plus.
• Ability to transport and install equipment weighing at least 25 lb.
• Works under supervision with basic verbal and written communication skills.
