Field Service Engineer – TSMC Support

About the role

As a Field Service Engineer you will perform installation, commissioning, planned maintenance, troubleshooting and on‑site support for TSMC customers. You will work both independently and as part of a team, responding to out‑of‑hours calls to meet a 2‑hour response target.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out planned maintenance and troubleshoot issues in the field.
• Provide timely out‑of‑hours support, ensuring a maximum 2‑hour response time.
• Report customer requests and service activities to the Field Service Team Leader.

Required profile

• Experience in field service activities (advantageous).
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics.
• Background in electro‑mechanical assembly, PLC controls or electronics is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build customer relationships.
