Field Service Engineer – TSMC Support

About the role

Carry out installation, commissioning, planned maintenance, troubleshooting and field support for TSMC equipment. Work closely with customers, report to the Field Service Team Leader and respond to out‑of‑hours calls, maintaining a 2‑hour response time. The role requires both independent work and teamwork, with a strong customer‑focused attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain semiconductor equipment on‑site.
• Perform troubleshooting and provide field support to resolve issues quickly.
• Execute planned maintenance activities according to schedule.
• Respond to emergency calls outside regular hours, ensuring a maximum 2‑hour response.
• Travel extensively within the designated area to visit customer sites.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering background with ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience in field service or electro‑mechanical assembly is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure, learn quickly and act proactively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of electro‑mechanical assembly and fitting.
• Experience with PLC control systems.
• Electronics troubleshooting.
