Testing Technician

About the role

ALES ASIA, a Taiwanese manufacturer of special gas delivery equipment such as gas cabinets and valve manifolds, is hiring a testing technician. The company's factory is in the Taichung Science Park, with class 1000 and 100 cleanrooms and ISO 9001 certification. The role covers inspection, testing, documentation and maintenance of test equipment within the quality control area.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials for damage and verify model accuracy.
• Test products according to manufacturing and inspection procedures, including pressure hold, helium leak, water, oxygen and dust tests.
• Prepare and keep test data documents and provide them to customers before shipment.
• Perform final inspection, packaging and export/import labelling.
• Maintain and repair test instruments to keep them accurate and reliable.
• Check daily the nitrogen and argon gas cylinders used for welding and pressure tests.
• Keep the QC and storage areas tidy (5S) and help check and maintain the cleanroom air conditioning system.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher in mechanical, electrical, automatic control, manufacturing or chemical engineering.
• More than one year of experience in assembly or testing of semiconductor equipment.
• Enthusiasm for analysis and testing work.
• High-pressure equipment operators (>10 kg/cm²) must hold the high-pressure gas equipment operator certificate.
