Temp HSE Specialist

About the role

ABB is looking for a temporary Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist to support the ELSP 3101 LVS project for TSMC. The role is focused on on‑site HSE execution, helping to improve safety performance and embed a strong HSE culture within the project team.

Key responsibilities

• Report HSE incidents to management and relevant stakeholders and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
• Facilitate and assist incident investigations, providing guidance to identify root causes and mitigate future risks.
• Deliver feedback on lessons learned and best practices across ABB and the subcontractor network.
• Support behavioural change by implementing group‑wide and business‑specific HSE improvement programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, occupational health & safety, environmental engineering, electrical or electronic engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge of local occupational safety and health legislation.
• Certified "營造甲種業務主管" license (construction supervisor).
• Fluent in both English and Chinese, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Knowledge of local OHS regulations and standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
