SW Development Manager – Manufacturing IT

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the Manufacturing ADS team. The role combines software engineering expertise with people‑development responsibilities, driving both technical excellence and team growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage functional and operational workloads for the team.
• Set goals, provide feedback, appraise performance, and support career development.
• Deliver training to ensure the team has the required knowledge and competencies.
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to define requirements, create user stories, and communicate progress.
• Collaborate with global IT and Manufacturing Development leaders to shape strategy, drive improvements, and recognize achievements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills across departments, sites, and geographies.
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate effective teams.
• Commitment to developing others and a flexible, high‑commitment work schedule.
• Solid technical capability.
