Sustainability Consultant – Green Building Certification

About the role

Arup is looking for a Sustainability Consultant (or Assistant Consultant) to lead green‑building certification efforts across multiple projects. The role involves guiding design teams from concept through to final submission, ensuring compliance with certification frameworks such as EEWH, LEED and WELL.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage certification submissions and supporting documentation.
• Review design packages, identify credit opportunities and gaps, and advise on improvements.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and clients throughout the certification process.
• Track progress, respond to reviewer comments, and maintain project records.
• Support construction‑stage compliance, verification and post‑occupancy reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering green‑building certifications.
• Proven involvement in at least three completed EEWH submissions.
• Familiarity with building systems and certification frameworks.
• Professional accreditation such as LEED AP or WELL AP is preferred.
