Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

iPronics is seeking a detail‑oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to act as the primary quality liaison with Tier 1 OSAT, foundry, and module manufacturing partners. You will own supplier‑side quality performance, drive structured problem‑solving, and manage RMA and field‑return processes to ensure our optical network products meet rigorous datacenter standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main quality interface for OSATs, foundries and module suppliers, aligning on specifications and deliverables.
• Lead supplier quality reviews, quarterly business reviews and daily issue tracking.
• Drive DPPM, SPC, Cp/Cpk and yield KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Execute failure analysis, root‑cause analysis and 8D reports for assembly, optical alignment and reliability issues.
• Own the full RMA workflow, from intake to customer communication, and establish RMA performance metrics.
• Review and approve supplier PCN/ECN/MRB submissions and monitor process stability.
• Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms for supplier quality performance.

Required profile

• Highly skilled and detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Experience in supplier quality management within semiconductor, photonics or related high‑tech manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional problem‑solving activities (FA, RCA, 8D).
• Familiarity with RMA processes and field‑failure support.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
