About the role
The Supplier Intelligence Manager will create and deliver a fact‑based, insight‑driven view of Qualcomm’s supplier ecosystem. This role supports smarter sourcing decisions, risk mitigation, cost optimisation and supply continuity across both direct and indirect spend categories.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the global supplier landscape, including segmentation, criticality and dependency analysis.
- Monitor market dynamics such as capacity constraints, geographic risk, financial health, regulatory exposure and technology shifts.
- Produce intelligence briefs that inform sourcing strategy, supplier selection and negotiation planning.
- Partner with category managers to identify, assess and track supplier risk indicators across operational, financial, geopolitical and compliance dimensions.
- Support the creation of supplier scorecards and performance frameworks by integrating data from procurement, ERP and supplier systems.
- Analyze spend patterns, fragmentation and tail‑spend trends to uncover consolidation and cost‑reduction opportunities.
- Translate analytics into clear recommendations that drive sourcing actions and measurable outcomes.
- Act as a consultative advisor to procurement leadership, providing data‑backed insights for executive reviews.
- Help define and operationalise supplier intelligence as a core procurement capability.
