Solutions Account Manager – Taiwan & SEA

About the role

The Solutions Account Manager for Taiwan & SEA will drive growth of scientific database and solution portfolios within the life‑science sector. Reporting to the Academic & Government team, you will combine pre‑sales planning, direct selling and post‑sales hand‑over to maximise revenue and customer success.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve revenue targets across a portfolio of scientific databases and solutions.
• Develop and execute account plans, identify key stakeholders and conduct need‑analysis.
• Lead consultative sales cycles, negotiate contracts and close new business, upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Manage renewals, perform risk assessments and coordinate with the Renewals Desk.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, inside sales and Customer Success Managers to ensure smooth hand‑over and drive additional sales activities.
• Monitor sales performance and forecasts using tools such as Clari and Gong, adjusting plans as needed.
• Gather competitive intelligence and market insights to inform go‑to‑market strategies.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences and industry events.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in the life‑science or scientific‑software industry.
• Strong consultative selling approach with ability to translate business needs into tailored solutions.
• Experience managing full sales cycles, including pre‑sales planning, contract negotiation and post‑sales hand‑over.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with customers and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales enablement platforms such as Clari.
• Experience using conversation analytics tools like Gong.
