About the role
Google’s Pixel Quality team is looking for a Software Engineer to build high‑quality, AI‑powered tools that improve the development workflow for Pixel features. You will work on systems that accelerate testing, automation, and quality assurance for millions of users worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement automation and testing infrastructure for Pixel software quality.
- Develop AI‑driven agentic tools and frameworks that enhance feature development.
- Collaborate with cross‑regional teams (MTV/APAC) across software, tooling, and product integration.
- Maintain and evolve Android mobile development pipelines and full‑stack services.
- Lead small projects, drive technical decisions, and quickly ramp up in a complex domain.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software development experience in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- At least 1 year of full‑stack or Android mobile development experience.
- Strong ability to collaborate across teams and lead technical initiatives.
- Preferred: Master’s degree, experience with Generative AI, large language models, and building automation or testing infrastructure.
