Software Engineer – Android Frameworks (Online Interview)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Android development team. The role focuses on building and maintaining core Android framework components and optimizing the operating system for handheld devices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using object‑oriented programming in C++ or Java.
• Design and implement Android framework components, including applications, system/user services, and hardware abstraction layers.
• Integrate and optimise the Android OS for various handheld platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams following Agile processes to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong experience with C++ or Java in an object‑oriented environment.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Android OS development and framework integration.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile team setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
