Site Supervisor Optical Transceiver Manufacturing

About the role

Lumilens is seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Site Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day production of its next‑generation 800G and 1.6T optical transceiver lines. You will ensure that build plans, quality targets, and delivery schedules are met while maintaining a disciplined, high‑quality shop floor environment for advanced optical modules.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production execution for 800G and 1.6T transceiver assembly and test lines.
• Monitor output metrics such as quantity, scrap, first‑pass yield, defects, and inventory control.
• Ensure strict adherence to cleanroom discipline, fiber handling, ESD protocols, and optical safety.
• Coordinate with process, test, and manufacturing engineers to transition pilot builds to high‑volume production.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate operators, driving performance improvements and competency in optical module assembly.
• Build and manage a prototyping and testing environment for NPI development and training.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in an optical or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of optical/electronics assembly processes and quality control.
• Ability to maintain a disciplined, safety‑focused shop floor.
• Excellent communication skills to work with cross‑functional engineering teams.
