Signaling Installation Site Supervisor – TCL OCS

About the role

Alstom is seeking a full‑time Signaling Installation Site Supervisor for the Taipei Metro Circular Line OCS project in Xindian, New Taipei City. You will lead the on‑site installation of signaling equipment, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance while coordinating with local teams, civil partners and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the revamping of the TCL1 signaling system on site.
• Carry out safety checks before, during and after night (01:00‑04:30) and day (09:00‑18:00) work windows, ensuring tools and gauge checks for all new track equipment.
• Install equipment according to Method Statements, drawings and approved procedures.
• Prepare post‑installation checks and self‑inspection reports for each shift.
• Coordinate with OCC and station masters for brown‑field access.
• Plan weekly site activities and report progress, issues and non‑conformities to the Quality team.
• Manage material requests and ensure compliance with D&IS Installation and FO processes.
• Enforce EHS requirements and special processes, supporting handover to the T&C team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best‑practice documentation.

Required profile

• Engineering diploma (Electronic or Mechanical) or equivalent experience in metro signaling, communications, power or platform screen doors.
• Minimum 4 years of installation experience on metro signaling systems.
• Experience with point‑machine installation, cable laying, cable termination and fiber‑optic splicing is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of railway EHS and revenue‑service environments.
