Senior SEO Developer (WordPress)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SEO Developer with deep expertise in WordPress to design, build, and maintain high‑performance content sites. You will collaborate with SEO, content, design, product, and marketing teams to ensure the platform is technically optimized for search engines and scalable for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, test, launch, and maintain WordPress websites from scratch.
• Create and customize themes, plugins, and page templates.
• Build content structures such as categories, author pages, article pages, internal search, related content, advertising placements, and multilingual functions.
• Implement technical SEO elements: site architecture, page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile performance, XML sitemaps, schema markup, canonical tags, hreflang, redirects, internal linking, crawlability, and indexation.
• Manage website security, backups, caching, CDN configuration, bug fixing, server‑related issues, and ongoing technical maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on website development experience, primarily with WordPress.
• Proven track record of building and launching complete WordPress sites.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO and ability to work independently, identify risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and propose practical solutions.
• Experience with large‑scale content, media, news, or multilingual websites is highly preferred.
