Senior Production Planner & Controller

About the role

AMD is seeking a Senior Production Planner & Controller to own end‑to‑end product supply from wafer fab through final pack‑out. You will work in a fast‑paced semiconductor environment, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and external OSAT partners to ensure production targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze supply‑demand mismatches, identify root causes of shortages and drive corrective actions.
• Own product/project supply plans from fab to final goods, meeting volume and timing targets.
• Manage OSAT relationships, driving throughput, efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with engineering and industrial engineering to close gaps in supply plans and execution.
• Simulate scenarios for NPI and sustaining production, covering capacity, yield, material flow and BOM.
• Track WIP, cycle time and aged material, and lead cross‑functional communication to resolve excursions.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing production planning & control.
• Experience managing outsourcing/OSAT partners.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English and Chinese.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, material management, industrial engineering or related field.
