Senior Product Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior product design engineer to lead the development of new and existing server‑rack, enclosure and connector products. The role involves translating customer requirements into robust mechanical designs, validating prototypes, and supporting pilot manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake product design and development, solving technical issues and performing failure analysis.
• Develop test protocols, conduct verification and validation testing, and build prototype proof‑of‑concept units.
• Communicate progress to cross‑functional teams and ensure deliverables meet IEC, Telcordia and quality standards.
• Provide technical support to customers, suppliers and internal personnel throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).

Required skills

• SolidWorks, NX, Pro/E or other CAD tools for mechanical structure design.
• Experience designing server‑rack, enclosure and connector products, including verification and validation.
• Ability to perform failure analysis and troubleshooting.
• Preferred experience with fiber‑optic product design.
