Senior Process Engineer (SMTS/DMTS) - DRAM Yield Roadmap

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking senior technical leaders in process engineering to join Micron Memory Taiwan, reporting directly to site senior management or the VP. As a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) or Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS), you will lead technical projects, define the technical roadmap and mentor engineers, helping develop DRAM process solutions that support yield ramp-up.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a critical task force and cross-functional technical team to execute the new technology node yield roadmap
• Collaborate with process integration, technology development and local yield teams to improve new technologies
• Guide and mentor team members and foster continuous learning and career development
• Identify process improvements aligned with state-of-the-art product requirements while optimizing costs
• Build a solid understanding of process engineering and its impact on overall process health
• Provide engineering support to internal team members and senior leadership

Required profile

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in advanced memory or logic nodes
• Detailed knowledge of at least one main semiconductor process, such as lithography, dry etch, wet etch, CMP, thin film, diffusion, implantation or metrology
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and drive cross-functional teams
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal, influencing and collaboration skills
• Track record of delivering innovative solutions
• An advanced degree in Engineering or Science is preferred
