Senior Medical Scientific Liaison - Oncology

About the role

Pfizer is hiring a Senior Medical Scientific Liaison (Sr. MSL) in oncology for Taiwan. The role acts as a key scientific leader who can independently drive high-quality, compliant medical and scientific engagements with oncology healthcare professionals, integrating field insights into medical planning and supporting launch readiness, lifecycle management and evidence-generation priorities. It is field-based, with at least 80% of time spent in external interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead external medical and scientific engagement with healthcare professionals, independently and in line with compliance requirements.
• Provide expert, evidence-based scientific information aligned with HCP needs and patient-care priorities.
• Collect, evaluate and turn field insights into actionable medical plans for launch readiness, lifecycle management and strategic decisions.
• Ensure all medical-to-medical activities, communications and interactions meet Pfizer's medical governance, regulatory and quality standards.
• Work with the Clinical Team and cross-functional partners to co-develop and optimise scientific materials and medical initiatives.
• Support Pfizer-sponsored and investigator-initiated research, and contribute to evidence-generation activities.
• Communicate the value of field medical activities and support other medical initiatives assigned by the Country Medical Lead.

Required profile

• Master's degree or above in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine or a related field; PhD, PharmD or MD preferred.
• 2+ years of medical affairs experience or in a related therapeutic area; existing MSL experience preferred.
• Oncology experience strongly preferred; experience supporting clinical research, RWE or evidence generation is advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication.
