Senior Medical Science Liaison – Oncology

About the role

The Senior Medical Science Liaison will act as a scientific bridge between Boehringer Ingelheim and oncology healthcare professionals in Taiwan. You will provide accurate medical information, support scientific programs, and contribute to the company’s oncology strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in peer‑level dialogue with key customers, delivering clinical and scientific content through multiple compliant channels.
• Develop and execute an external expert engagement plan, maintaining strong relationships with strategic scientific leaders.
• Capture medical insights and intelligence, feeding them back to cross‑functional teams to shape strategy.
• Implement field medical activities such as data dissemination, advisory board meetings, and CME/SEM events.
• Provide product and pipeline training, delivering scientific updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support local data generation initiatives, including publications, investigator‑initiated studies, Phase IV trials, and expanded access programs.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests promptly and accurately.

Required profile

• Master’s degree, PharmD or PhD in Life Sciences or a related pharmacy discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical or pharmaceutical setting.
• Strong knowledge of clinical study methodology, study design, data review, analysis, and publication processes.
• Excellent planning, presentation, and project‑management abilities.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messages for diverse audiences.
