Senior Medical Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Medical Advisor to lead the development and execution of medical plans for assigned therapeutic areas or brands. The role will manage budgets, drive scientific engagement with external experts, and provide strategic medical input to cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and periodically review Medical Plans aligned with product strategy and company priorities.
• Lead medical budget and resource planning, monitor expenditures and ensure compliant utilization of resources.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to address unmet medical needs and shape medical strategies.
• Create high‑quality scientific materials for product launches, medical education programs, scientific meetings and stakeholder engagements.
• Deliver scientific presentations at congresses, advisory boards and educational meetings to strengthen scientific leadership.
• Provide accurate, balanced, evidence‑based scientific education to KOLs and HCPs and facilitate scientific discussions.
• Communicate scientific developments and medical strategies to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Train internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant and consistent communication.
• Guide MSLs on appropriate dissemination of medical information.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert supporting Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development and other functions.
• Identify, map and engage key external experts, develop KOL engagement plans and maintain long‑term scientific partnerships.
• Collaborate with external experts to advance scientific understanding and therapeutic practice.
• Gather and communicate medical insights from KOL and HCP interactions to inform strategy.
