Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (1-year contract)

About the role

Logitech is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of high‑volume gaming products. This 1‑year contract role focuses on creating robust mechanical solutions that can be mass‑produced while meeting cost, reliability, and safety targets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze, document, and test complex mechanical parts and assemblies for gaming products.
• Develop and qualify plastic tooling, including design debug and injection‑molded part optimization.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to ensure designs are production‑ready.
• Apply DFMEA, DFMA, PSS, and tolerance analysis to guarantee quality and manufacturability.
• Resolve mechanical engineering issues throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• 5+ years of mechanical design experience in high‑volume consumer electronics.
• Strong knowledge of plastic materials, injection molding, and cosmetic finishes.
• Proven ability to work in a cross‑functional, global environment.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
