Equipment Engineer (EE) – Southeast Asia & India

About the role

TSMC is seeking Equipment Engineers to join its Southeast Asia and India operations. Engineers act as the doctors for high‑tech manufacturing machines, applying AI, machine learning and real‑time data acquisition to maximise equipment value and product yield.

Key responsibilities

• Handle Nano Diffusion, Thin Film, Lithography, Etching, or Metrology equipment.
• Sustain and troubleshoot high‑tech equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Improve and enhance equipment efficiency and overall productivity.
• Plan and execute analysis or defect‑detection projects.
• Communicate effectively with cross‑functional engineers and equipment vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Optoelectronics, Aerospace, Automation Engineering or related fields.
• No prior experience required; equipment maintenance or improvement experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor processes and mechanical principles is advantageous.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, teamwork and active learning attitude.
• Willingness to work on‑site in fab environments, including night‑shift rotations if needed.
• Mandarin language skills are a plus.
