Senior Manager – Taiwan IFM Platform

About the role

The Senior Manager – Taiwan IFM Platform is a key member of the senior leadership team in Taiwan, reporting to the IFM Operations Lead. Based in Taipei, the role supports business development, people and performance management, commercial and financial performance, and strategic initiatives for the IFM business line.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure on‑site team complies with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
• Provide technical and procedural training to coworkers and subcontractors, and act as a trusted adviser on preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds.
• Plan preventive maintenance for new business development projects, monitor fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing, and other equipment to ensure performance within design specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, onboarding, and transition support, and ensure smooth go‑live operations for new clients.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, summon additional assistance, and perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as filter changes, belt replacements, and water treatment.
• Serve as secondary escalation point for local accounts, conduct periodic health and status checks, and report incidents and risks to regional GOS IFM management.
• Maintain positive relationships with Taiwan‑based GOS IFM leaders, non‑GOS C&W business, and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• College graduate in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related field).
• At least 10 years of IFM property management experience for commercial offices.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and building equipment.
• Relevant certifications in safety training and at least three of the following: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.

Required skills

• Knowledge of genset, UPS, BMS, FDAS and related equipment.
• Proficiency with HVAC, electrical systems, mechanical systems, fire alarm and plumbing systems.
• Experience with refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, carpentry and engine repair.
