Senior Line Haul Specialist

About the role

The Senior Line Haul Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating and optimizing line‑haul truck operations across multiple facilities. This role works closely with fulfillment centers, hubs, vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective transportation while continuously improving service performance.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange line‑haul trucks using the Transportation Management System (TMS) and communicate schedules to fulfillment centers, hubs, camps and vendors.
• Monitor transportation service status, analyze level‑of‑service metrics and drive improvements through cross‑functional collaboration.
• Manage vendor and route‑level operations, settlements and performance reporting.
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance overall truck transportation processes and handle related communications.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of logistics and transportation management experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role (sub‑team leader or team leader) within logistics.
• Proven ability to plan logistics operations, manage metrics and report to senior management.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; ability to work day shifts and occasional alternative shifts during peak seasons.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Business Management Systems (BMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• SQL for data extraction, manipulation and reporting.
• Strong data‑analysis capabilities to evaluate performance and support decision‑making.
