Senior Engineer, Gas, Global Facilities

About the role

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is looking for a Senior Engineer, Gas for its Global Facilities Engineering department. You will act as the technical subject matter expert for Bulk Gas, Specialty Gas and Liquid Delivery systems, supporting the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of facilities systems at Micron's semiconductor manufacturing sites worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical field domain expert, consulting and supporting site facilities and manufacturing teams, and collaborate with Technology Development, Procurement, Finance and Legal.
• Develop, review and maintain global standards, specifications and best known methods (BKMs), and drive standardization and alignment across the global network.
• Benchmark engineering best practices and stay up to date with industry trends, technology roadmaps and sustainability practices.
• Support design teams on large-scale facility expansion projects: review design packages, check compliance with standards and codes, help with cost and schedule estimates, supervise construction where needed, and lead capacity databases and system trend reviews.
• Lead Global Facilities programs and initiatives, including sustainability programs aligned with corporate goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process or Industrial Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in semiconductor and/or facilities-related industries.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work on multiple tasks at once, with strong organization and communication skills.
• English required; familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and facilities systems.
• Able to travel internationally 25-40% on average, up to 50-66% during critical project phases or site activities.
