Senior DFX Engineer, Volume Diagnosis - VLSI

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a senior DFX engineer to lead volume diagnosis and yield‑learning initiatives for its VLSI team in Taiwan. You will be responsible for improving manufacturability, accelerating root‑cause identification, and guiding corrective actions from bring‑up through volume production and field return analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Implement industry‑standard volume diagnosis solutions to process fail logs, localize defects, and generate actionable analysis.
• Drive yield improvement through data‑driven debugging, systematic defect Pareto analysis, and rapid feedback loops.
• Partner with global DFX, test engineering, operations, foundry, and failure‑analysis teams to isolate root causes and resolve production issues.
• Analyze production test and diagnosis data to identify yield limiters and enhance test efficiency, silicon quality, and manufacturability.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in DFT, DFX, product engineering, silicon debug, yield engineering, or a closely related semiconductor discipline.
• Strong understanding of volume diagnosis, systematic defect analysis, and yield improvement in high‑volume manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with commercial diagnosis tools and production diagnosis flows, including fail‑log processing and root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills for working across global engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams.
