Senior Data Analyst - Logistics Middle Mile

About the role

Coupang Taiwan is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for its Middle Mile Analytics & Process Innovation team. The role supports key operational areas such as linehaul and transportation performance, sortation and hub operations, first-mile flow, capacity planning, cost productivity and service quality. You will work with Operations, Transportation, Finance, Product and Engineering stakeholders to turn operational challenges into data-driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Middle Mile, Hub, Transportation and Operations leaders to deliver insights, analysis and reporting, and run ad hoc analyses and recurring business reviews.
• Investigate network performance, service quality, productivity and transportation costs, and identify bottlenecks and root causes.
• Build forecasting models for volume, labor, transportation demand and network capacity.
• Analyze workflows, support Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement, design KPI frameworks and quantify the impact of process changes.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards and self-service reports, and automate manual reporting.
• Design and evaluate experiments and pilots, build predictive models for transportation performance, parcel flow, SLA attainment and capacity utilization, and support machine learning initiatives.
• Communicate findings clearly to senior leadership and maintain data accuracy and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Economics or a related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, operations analytics, supply chain analytics or related fields.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and analytical methodologies, with attention to detail and data validation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and strong communication in English and Mandarin.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and strong Python for analysis, automation and modeling.
• Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar.
• Preferred: experience with logistics, transportation, fulfillment, warehouse or supply chain operations; network optimization, routing analytics, forecasting and capacity planning; experimentation frameworks, causal inference and machine learning; ETL pipelines and tools such as Airflow, DBT, Spark; Lean, Six Sigma.
