Senior Counsel – Antitrust and Competition Law

About the role

TSMC is seeking a Senior Counsel to lead high‑impact legal projects focused on antitrust and competition law. The role will provide expert guidance on complex regulatory issues and support the company’s strategic objectives across its global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct advanced legal research and strategic analysis of competition laws worldwide.
• Develop and present robust legal arguments, proposals, and innovative solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations and draft complex agreements critical to major projects, ensuring alignment with legal standards and corporate goals.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across functions as a trusted legal advisor, mitigating risks and supporting strategic initiatives.
• Monitor evolving antitrust and competition regulations globally and implement effective compliance policies.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer licensed in the US, EU, or Taiwan.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in antitrust, competition, compliance, and corporate law, with both transactional and litigation exposure.
• Proven ability to lead complex legal initiatives in fast‑paced environments.
• Prior experience in the semiconductor industry or a science/engineering background is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in Chinese and English.
